Dance Camp 2010
August 16 - 20
This camp will cover many types of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, and Irish. Dancers will also be exposed to a variety of famous ballet stories and music. All dancers, beginners to advanced are welcome.
Incoming Kindergartners- Incoming 4th graders: 9am - 12pm
Incoming 5th graders - Incoming 8th graders: 1pm - 4pm
Cost: The cost of camp is $150 per dancer for the week. 10% discount is offered for each additional family member. There will be NO REFUNDS. Tuition is due at time of registration. Checks should be made payable to: Fay Schanne Dance Studio
The Instructors:
Alex Stephan is 22 years old and has been dancing at Fay Schanne Dance Studio since the age of three. She has also taken Irish dancing lessons with Coyle and DeNogla in Princeton, NJ. She is a current graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ where she earned a degree in Communications and a Minor in Dance. She spent the '07,'08,'09 seasons cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles! Alex teaches jazz, and Irish at Fay Schanne.
Ashley Prime is 24 years old and has also been dancing at Fay Schanne Dance Studio since the age of three. She studied dance at the University of Richmond in Virginia for the past four years along with her area of undergraduate studies, and currently attends the University of Pennsylvania studying International Law. Ashley looks forward to sharing her passion of dance with this year's campers.
What to Bring: All dancers should wear leotards and tights, with hair securely up to camp each day. Dancers should bring ballet or jazz shoes, and tap shoes if possible. Everyone is encouraged to bring a water bottle and a small, nutritious snack. The dancer's name should be on all bags or water bottles.
